Does she hit the ground?

Beneath the weight

Is she an angel at all?
Do her wings turn black?
Does she do
Good or evil
In hopes
Of becoming
A star?

In the first place?

A holy being?
Something to want to be?
Or just a creature
Born special
Forced to judge
Never knowing
What it’s like
To touch
The ground?

Do you wish to dawn wings?
Do you dream of soaring through the heavens?
